We have been reading lots of books  illustrated by Eric Carle.  The children painted tissue paper.  Then we hung it to dry.  Today we tore it into small pieces.  Then we used glue to make collages.  This is the same way Eric Carle makes the pictures for his books.   I can't wait for you to see them.  They are beautiful!
